Filmstrip format

Filmstrip format lets you open, edit, and save movie files created by Adobe -Premiere^®. The Save As Filmstrip option is only available for Filmstrip format files. If you resize, resample, change the color mode, or change the file format of a Filmstrip file in Photoshop Elements, you won't be able to save it back to Filmstrip format.
